LGM provides timely courses offerings to support the Canadian dealership community

Vancouver, BC (March 29, 2021) – LGM Financial Services Inc. (LGM), one of Canada’s leading Finance and Insurance (F&I) providers, recently announced they have reopened their online learning platform, My Distinction Learning, to better support dealerships operating through the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. Courses are available to all automotive professionals regardless of their affinity to LGM and aim to help dealers overcome some of the challenges they are facing today as a result of social distancing measures.

“Right now, social distancing guidelines change daily, impacting how our dealers do business. Once the pandemic is over, it will forever change how businesses operate. Getting ahead of what that looks like is smart business and there has never been a more important time to get ahead,” said Nathalie Abdallah, Vice President of Dealer Training at LGM.

It was that thinking that sparked LGM’s most pivotal offering, The Financial Services Office (FSO) in a Virtual World, which was created as a direct response to the pandemic. The course aims to help those working in dealerships optimize their F&I business and build better relationships with clients in an increasingly digital world. FSO in a Virtual World is just one of many on-demand learning programs offered by LGM through their Learning Management System (LMS), which they launched in 2019.

“Self-paced learning has been an increasingly popular trend in education for some time, which is why we launched our online learning platform years ago,” said Abdallah. “With our platform already in place and operating effectively when the pandemic hit, we were quickly able to adapt and shift our focus to providing the best service possible to our partners. We immediately started developing and delivering content that kept pace with emerging issues.”
