The Dilawri Foundation — the Dilawri Group’s non-profit branch — has launched an app that promotes putting the smartphone down while driving, and LGM Financial is once again holding its Auto Dealers Against Distracted Driving campaign.

LGM invites Canadian dealers to join the fight against distracted driving.

Auto Dealers Against Distracted Driving is calling on dealers across Canada to participate in a campaign geared at educating consumers about the dangers of distracted driving. The campaign runs from March 1 – 31, 2016.

Dealers join fight against distracted driving

LGM Financial Services Inc. is calling on Canadian dealers to join its campaign to help educate consumers on distracted driving, which causes around 80 per cent of collisions.

The company said it is on its way to reaching 700 registered dealers by campaign launch on March 1, and has 200 dealers on board leading up to the month-long awareness event.
