LGM Partners with Mazda Canada to Launch Wear Protection to

Leasing Customers

Oakville, Ontario, Canada: August 10, 2011 – LGM, a leading supplier of OEM branded extended warranty, credit insurance, wear protection and automotive theft deterrent products, announced today that it has partnered with Mazda Canada Inc. to offer Mazda Wear Protection on all leased vehicles.

Mazda Wear Protection helps preserve the appearance and new-car experience by providing four categories of protection:  Interior Protection; Front Windshield and Head/Tail Light Protection; Paintless Dent Removal and Paint Repairs; and Curb Scuff Repair.  Optional Tire and Wheel Protection is also available.

“Mazda’s leasing program is in top gear and we are offering customers an innovative product that helps protect against common mishaps such as windshield stone chips and shopping cart door dents,” said Diana Ricketts, Manager of OEM Development at LGM.  “Typical Lease End Wear & Tear programs only address wear issues at lease termination.  The benefit of the Mazda program is consumers can have the vehicle repaired immediately and maintain the new-car appearance throughout the lease”.

Wear Protection is the only product of its kind backed by Mazda Canada.  “Customers benefit from the protection they need and are fully supported through our network of Mazda dealers.  Our dealers are better able to service their customers over the life of the lease, and Mazda customers can enjoy their vehicles in a continual like-new condition” said Don MacPhee, Director of Customer Service at Mazda Canada Inc.  “Customers simply visit a Mazda dealer for repairs, resulting in worry-free coverage and improved customer satisfaction. In addition, the program guarantees that only Mazda genuine parts are used when a part replacement is required.

The Mazda Wear Protection program will be available at Mazda dealers effective immediately and will be offered on new vehicles through Mazda’s leasing program.
